SOUTHAMPTON: Veteran speedster Umesh Yadav pipped Brisbane Test hero Shardul Thakur from the 15-member Indian Group Which May Carry on New Zealand at the World Test Championship Finishing Beginning on June 18.
Umesh, together with Mohammed Shami, along with Hanuma Vihari all whom got injured throughout the Australia tour, were back at the 15 that had to be declared according to ICC group protocol.
Besides Shardul, the noteworthy titles to overlook were Mayank Agarwal, along with Washington Sundar, that had been at the playing XI for the Test match against Australia.
England series protagonist Axar Patel also dropped out.
