Harare: Wellington Masadadza took three goats and three catches to direct Zimbabwe to a 23-run victory over Bangladesh at their second international Twenty20 at Harare Sports Club on Friday.
It was Zimbabwe’s first success on tourists after losing one-time test, three ODIS and the first of the three T20 series matches on Thursday and set a decider on Sunday.
Zimbabwe, who won the throw and chose to bat, scored 166-6 with Wesley Madhevere contributed 73, which Bangladesh answered with 143 in 19.5 overs.
Madhevere provides the foundation with a knock, with a strong bat Ryan Burl adds 34 not to come out while Shoriful Islam takes 3-33.
Bangladesh, dominant with bats in all tour formats, this time failed to get better than the Bowler’s house as the first thanks to Muzarabani and then the cooked to get between the goal.
Camadadza takes 3-20 and Muzarabani 2-21 while the sour servants also take three catches on the inside to help their team goals.
