Bengaluru: Karnataka on Monday noted a slight briefs in the case of fresh Covid 19th at 11 698 and 4 deaths, taking the tally into 30.63.656 and the death toll to 38 374.
The state has witnessed a steady surge in cases since December last week and has reported 12,000 cases of day-to-day on Sunday.
Of the new cases on Monday, comes from Bengaluru Urban 9221 that saw 829 people discharged and two deaths.
The total number of active cases in the entire country is now 60 148.
There are 1148 release, taking the total number of recovery become 29.65.105, the health department said Bulletin.
While the level of positivity for the day stood at 7.77 percent, the case fatality rate (CFR) was 0.03 percent.
Of the four deaths, two are from Bangalore Urban and each of Mysore and Ramanagara.
Regardless of Bangalore Urban, Mysore recorded the second highest of the 309 new cases, 306 Mandya, Udupi 219, 176 Dakshina Kannada, Hassan 171, followed by others.
Bangalore Urban District now has a total 13.08.540 positive cases, followed by Mysore Tumakuru 1.81.639 and 1.21.919.
According to the Bulletin, Bengaluru Urban sustain list of the disposal by 12.43.155, followed by Mysore 1.77.872 and Tumakuru 1,20.206.
Cumulatively, the total 5.78.34.154 samples have been tested in the state, where 1.50.479 was tested on Monday alone.
