13 deaths, 275 Covid cases in PB, Hry, HP

Chandigarh / Shimla: The northern state of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh reported 275 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday along with 13 deaths.
Punjab reported three deaths and 105 new cases, Haryana reported 34 new cases and seven deaths, while Himachal Pradesh reported three deaths and 136 new cases.
Punjab reported one death of each of Faridkot, Fazilka, and Ludhiana, while 16 new cases appeared in Ludhiana and Bathinda, 12 in Jalandhar, eight in Amritsar, seven in Gurdapas, six in Kapurthala, respectively in Faridkot, Muktsar, Pathankot and Sangrur, two each at Fatehgarh Sahib, Moga, Patiala, Mohali and Nawanshahr, and one in Mansa and Ropar.
In the ongoing vaccination drive, 21,622 people were vaccinated, where 16,852 received the first dose and 4,770 was given the second dose.
Haryana’s new cases in the last 24 hours took the total number of positive patients Covid-19 to 7.69.417, while the total number of deaths in the country had recorded at 9,578, so far.
7,59,001 people in the state have been released after treatment and 838 cases are currently active.
The state has tested a total of 1,04,77,986 people today.
As far as vaccination, a total of 71,327 people were vaccinated on Thursday where 42,938 received their first dose and 28,389 received the second dose of their vaccination.
With this, a total of 1,02,55,416 people in the state have been vaccinated to date.
The level of state recovery is 98.65% and the mortality rate is 1.24%.
Himachal Pradesh stated 174 patients as recovered.
Two deaths have been reported from the Solan District, while other patients die in bathing districts.
The country has, so far, registered 2.04,098 a positive case, where 1,150 is active, 1,99,444 has recovered, while 3,486 patients have died.
So far, 26,33,662 people have been tested for Covid-19 in the state.
On Wednesday, 13,444 tests were carried out.
New positive cases reported cover 34 from Chamba Regency, 31 from Bath, 19 of Shimla, 17 of Kangra, 10 of Hamirpur, seven of Una, each of Bilalaspur and Kullu, three of Kinnaur.
Chamba District has 250 active cases, 176 baths, shimla 169, kangra 164, solan 121, bilalaspur 70, hamirpur 60, kinlu 52, una 47, kinnaur 22, sirmaur 11, and lahaul-spiti eight.
