Shimla: Reviewing the Covid-19 situation at Himachal Pradesh, the State Cabinet on Monday decided to open all educational institutions in the state of February 17.
Also decided to open all the gyms and cinema and allow all types of langars.
The cabinet also decided to provide a retirement and retirement of the family which was revised around 1.73 lakh pensioners / retired families of the country from 1, February 20, 2022.
This decision will ensure a retirement / family pension revision of 1.30 lakh retired / retired family from January 1, 2016 .
About 43,000 employees, who have retired between January 1, 2016 and December 31 last year will also get pensions and percent revisions.
Now the minimum retirement / family pension will increase from RS 3,500 per month to RS 9,000 per month from January 1, 2016.
It also provides a nod to increase the percent limit of Rs 10 lakh to RS 20 Lakh from January 1, 2016 which will also apply to NPS employees .
In the Cabinet meeting held under the leadership of the Minister of Chief Justice, Yai Ram, it was decided that the retirees / retired families of the country above 80 years will be given because of the additional pension benefits at the revised family retirement / pension.
It also decided to provide an invalid pension and retirement of families to NPS employees from the state government where RS 250 Crore will be spent.
The cabinet also decided to provide 31% of relief for retirees from July 1 last year.
Annual additional expenditures of 1,785 crore will be issued due to retirement revisions.
The state government has provided Rs 1,450.44 Crore to retirees as temporary assistance.
It also provides a nod to address the governor in the Assembly.
Approval to fill eight post-fire officers in the Department of Fire Himachal Pradesh on the basis of the contract through the Himachal Pradesh staff election commission was also given.
It also approved three fire sub-fire stations for Dheera in Kangra Regency, Bhatiyat in Chamba and Rewalsar in bathing, and three new fires in Chirgaon in Shimla, Bhoranj in Hamirpur District and in the South Portal Atal Tunnel Rohtang.
It also gave a nod to make and fill a sub-fire officer post, 2 leading firefighters, 14 firefighters and six driver-cum-pump operators in each new sub-fire station
