Udupi: Fifteen students at the Government School in Udupi Regency Karnataka have been tested positively Covid-19, forcing the Ministry of Health and Education to take steps to prevent the spread of the virus among other students.
The latest campus cases are reported from government elementary schools in Brahmavar, and all students have been isolated and treated.
Meanwhile, samples have been collected from all major contacts, including students and teachers.

“Some children and a teacher also feel positive for Covid-19 after doing one round of tests at school.
Usually, all institutions are not closed when some cases are found.
Those who have tested negative are attending class.
All positive cases were reported three days ago, And they are in house isolation now, “he said.
The Udupi district on Tuesday reported 250 fresh Covid-19 cases, with a test level of test (TPR) to 6.3 percent.
Of the 250 cases, 185 was reported at Udupi Taluk, 38 in Karkala and 26 in Kundapur Taluk.
TPR in Taluk, including Manipal City, almost 8 percent on Tuesday.
The district has 1,342 active cases, with 64 hospitalized and the rest in house isolation, officials said.
