Guwahati: Overall 15 people were killed and 19 shots and injured in the police shootout since the LED Government Sarma Himanta could take Assam two months ago.
Of the 15 killed, 10 was militant.
On Friday, allegations of other drug sellers were shot in the Central Morigaon District of Assam when trying to escape the police detention.
While 24 people (five of them later died) were accused of different cases, including rape, murder, drug parks, livestock smuggling, dacoity and so on, who was shot by the police while trying to escape from detention, 10 militants in the national liberation forces (DNLA ), Front (UPRF) United Revolutionary (UPRF) and the Bodoland National Liberation Front (NLFB) were killed in the past two months.

According to Chirang SP Gaurav Upadhyay, the defendant grabbed the weapon of police officers of the Bijni Sub-Division (SDO) and fled towards the forest.
Upadhyay added that the police used a “minimum shooting aimed at non-vital organs”.
The defendant, who suffered bullet wounds, was declared dead at the hospital.
Likewise, Bubu Konwar, a person accused of a number of other murders and cases, was injured by fire exchanges in Gelke in Sizagar Assam Regent on June 23.
65-year-old scholars Syed Ali, accused of raping and killing a 9-year-old girl in the Central Assam Morigaon district on June 20, a sustainable injury in the police gunfire while allegedly tried to escape on July 2.
He is in Judicial custody now.
Likewise, a person who was accused of a double rape and murder case in Kokrajhar Regency was shot by the police on June 17.
The government also captures around 1,800 by peddling drugs.
Two large drug racets were arrested by police in Anglong carbi, where drugs worth RS 19 Crore on the international market recovered in the past two months.
Two donkey sellers from Manipur and two women from Tamil Nadu were arrested.
Apart from this, the government has strictly followed the policy of “zero tolerance” against livestock smuggling in the state with the police being given a hand to take action against livestock smugglers.
Since May, 504 people have been arrested in connection with four livestock smuggling suffering from a bullet injury while trying to escape.
Most of the arrests were made in regions that dominated the minority in West Assam, including Dhubri, which borders Bangladesh.
Opposition parties, including Congress and various other organizations have slammed the government for the “meeting” that said it showed a dangerous future.
