157 recovered from Covid influenced by TB in K’Taka

Bengaluru: Around 157 people, who have recovered from Covid-19, found suffering from active tuberculosis in Karnataka.
It was from 7 lakh people, including the restored Covid and their household contact, which was played on August 31 for TB.
The Department of Health and Welfare of the Family has conducted a campaign to detect TB cases from August 16 among Covid-restored individuals, which have been tested positively between January and June 2021.
On Thursday, state officials participated in video conferencing with the Ministry of Health Union to review progress in the war against TB.
India has set a target of 2025 for free from TB.
The Ministry of the Union has directed that all cases of severe acute respiratory infections and diseases such as influenza must be evaluated for Covid-19.
