Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 1,913 new Covid-19 cases and 48 deaths on Tuesday, with a total infection to 28.74,597 and tolls to 35,944.
That day also saw 2,489 release, continuing to exceed the number of new cases, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 28.04,396.
Of the 1,913 new cases reported on Tuesday, 401 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 707 release and only eight deaths.
The total active case reaches 34,234.
While the level of participation for that day was 1.53 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.50 percent.
Of the 48 deaths reported on Tuesday, nine came from Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Urban (8), Kolar (7), Mysore and Shivamogga (3), followed by others.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 401, Dakshina Kannada 222, Mysore 198, Hassan 191, Tumakuaru 170, followed by others.
The Bengaluru Urban District topped the list of cases with a total of 12,20,098, followed by Mysuru 1,70,151 and Tumakuru 1,16,516.
Among the release too, Bengaluru Urban was above with 11,91,673, followed by Mysuru 1.65,204 and Tumaku 1,14.047.
Cumulatively total 3.61,68,611 samples were tested in a state so far, where it was 1.24.594 on Tuesday.
