Bengaluru: Karnataka on Wednesday reported 1,990 new Covid-19 cases and 45 deaths, took Caseload to 28.76,587 and the death toll became 35,989, the Ministry of Health said.
Today also saw 2,537 release, pushing the total recovery amount to 28.06,933.
Bengaluru Urban recorded 400 new cases, because the city saw 490 release and only 8 deaths.
Active cases reach 33,642.
While the level of participation for that day reached 1.59 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.26 percent.
Dakshina Kannada and Mysuru reported six deaths, Beleagvavi (4), rural and Chikkaballalapura Bengaluru respectively, followed by others.
After Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada recorded the highest number of cases in 219 followed by MySuru 211 and Hassan 175.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,20,498.
MySuru has 1,70,362 and tumakuru 1.16,594 cases.
Among the release also, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 11,92,163, followed by Mysuru 1.65,479 and Tumaku 1,14,109.
Cumulatively totaling 3.62.93,105 samples were tested in the state, where 1,24,494 was tested on Wednesday.
