Bengaluru: The number of children under the age of 10 years infected by Covid-19 has increased sharply this month with only 16 days reported 15 times more cases than overall December.
The data analysis of state war space showed 5,726 children in this age group were tested positively between January 1 and January 16.
In other words, more than 350 children are infected every January, compared to 376 in December and 332 in November.
