Bengaluru: The two brothers, who allegedly kidnapped a student for ransom and killed him when he tried to escape, had landed in police custody.
The defendant had called the victim’s father, Tarun 20 years old, demanded Rs 50 Lakh after throwing the last body in the storm water channel in Rajarajeshwarinagar.
A student management student and wholesale sons of vegetable traders of Mani, Tarun lost since the week after he left the house on Jalan Mudaliar in Bharathinagar to buy crackers from Hosur.
His body was found on Tuesday in a bag thrown into the sewer.
The defendant was Tazimulla Pasha, 39, from JJ Nagar and Nazir, 26, from Valmikinagar.
Tazimulla Pasha has worked with Tarun’s father.
