Shimla: Two people were killed, and the other two were injured when their Apple Laden truck traveled intentionally by accident in the Shimla District Kotkhai area on Friday.
While those killed have been identified as Apple farmers, who were injured had been identified as truck drivers and conductors.
After loading the Apple box, the truck headed for Chandigarh.
The accident occurred around one morning on Friday night.
The victims have been identified as Dhyan Singh (51) from Jajwani Village from Chirgaon Tehsil in Shimla and Tikkam Ram (62) from Klatpa District Kinaur District.
Both of them died in place.
Those who were injured were identified as Rahul Thakur and Jag Jeewan Shara both conductors and truck drivers.
Injuries have been accepted at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Shimla Hospital for treatment.
After the accident, the police with the help of the local community launched a rescue operation and carry bodies and injured from the canyon.
Police officials said that the accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving JAVAN Jeevan Sharma from Malokhar Village district of Bilalaspur.
According to police officials, a first case below 279,337,304A IPC was registered at the Kotkhai police station for Rahul Thakur’s statement from the Chandpur Village district of Bilalaspur which is a truck conductor.
Rahul Thakur stated that when he was with the driver of Jag Jeevan Sharma and two other people went to Chandigarh from Chirgigarh with the Apple Box in place near Nihari Nala Kotkhai, the driver loses control over the vehicle and falls from the road.
