Mangaluru: A total of 20 employees of private seafood companies have been hospitalized after alleged chemical leakage reported in the unit at Bisamanaman, on the outskirts of Mangaluru in Karnataka on Tuesday.
City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, who visited the place, said that around 80 employees were present at the unit at the time of the incident.
Introduction Investigation revealed that the incident was revealed at around 11:30 a.m.
in the storage unit and fish exports after the ammonia leak was reported.
Many employees rushed to a private hospital and were repatriated after being examined.
About 16 of them were observing.
They learn to get out of danger.
The leak was plugged in immediately, the police source said.
