BENGALURU: The NIA unique courtroom on June 14 introduced a 36-year-old guy, who had been detained for alleged terrorist actions in connection with a shooting in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) at December 2005.
Mohammed Habeeb alias Habeeb Miya alias Habeeb, also a resident of Agartala in Tripura, has been detained on March 22, 2017, from Central Crime Branch, Bengaluru.
He had been named as accused of No.7 at the instance in which a gunman opened fire at IISc campus on December 28, 2005, murdering Prof.
Munish Chandra Puri and injuring several other people.
Main defendant Sabahuddin alias Saba alias Farhan is your sole accused in prison in connection with the situation.
Habeeb’s name surfaced at the instance in 2008, when Uttar Pradesh police detained Saba at a terrorism situation.
Saba had confessed he combined with Hamza had assaulted IISc at December 2005.
He called Habeeb since the person who helped him to cross the Indian border from Tripura into Bangladesh.
Police registered a chargesheet from Saba and eight absconding accused, such as Habeeb at 2008.

The court found that when Habeeb had assisted Saba from crossing the border to visit Bangladesh illegally, it’s for police in Tripura to violate him in this respect and he cannot be prosecuted in this (IISc) situation.
