Bengaluru: Karnataka on Friday recorded 242 fresh Covid-19 cases and four deaths took Caseload to 29.93,139 and the toll road became 38,169.
The release of the Ministry of Health said 329 people were sent home, taking the total recovery amount to 29,47,683.
Active cases reach 7,258.
Bengaluru Urban remains the main contributor to the Covid case with 144 fresh infections and two deaths.
Other districts also reported new cases including 14 in Tumakuru, 12 in Dakshina Kannada, 11 each in Hassan and Kodagu and 10 in Uttara Kannada.
Chamarajanagar and Koppal recorded one death.
While 10 districts report zero infection and zero death, 14 districts have cases in one digit, said the bulletin.
The level of front of the day was 0.26 percent and the case mortality rate, 1.65 percent.
A total of 89,715 samples were tested in the state, taking the cumulative number of specimens checked as far as 5.25 crores.
The number of vaccinations carried out so far in the state rose to 6.98 crores, with 2,39,454 people inoculated on Friday, he said.
