Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 286 new cases of Covid-19 and 7 deaths, taking the number of infections to 29.91,142 and tolls to 38,138, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
That day also saw 289 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29.44,958.
Of the 286 cases reported on Thursday, 169 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 171 release and 3 deaths.
The total number of active cases in the country is 8,017.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.25 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.44 percent.
Of the 7 deaths reported on Thursday, 3 came from Bengaluru Urban; And each of the Kodagu, Koppala, Mysuru and Tumakuru.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 169, Hassan 23, Dakshina Kannada 17, Uttara Kannada 16, Tumakuru 12, Mysore 11, followed by others.
Cumulatively total 5.18 crore samples have been tested in a state so far, where 1,11,190 was tested on Thursday.
