Bengaluru: Panic wins among residents after the 30-foot drain hole appeared at Kadugondanahalli (Kg Halli) near the Arab College on Thursday morning.
“On Thursday, during tunneling work by TBM Bhadra, the dump hole appeared around 100 million from the Venkateshpura metro station to the Tannery Road metro station at 7:30 a.m.

The depth of the corridor from Kalena Agrahara Station on Jalan Bannerbhatta in the south to the Nagawara station in Outer Ring Road is more than 16 meters from the ground.
Officials said the blast was carried out only during the day without causing discomfort for the population.
“The duration of blasting which is controlled is about two minutes.
Traffic is limited to a few minutes but some people spread the message and cause panic, among others.
Blasting is safely controlled and is being used widely to break stones in several civil engineering projects throughout the world,” said An official.
