Chandigarh: On Saturday, 321 Covid cases, including three deaths reported in the city.
All three people who died fully and were partially vaccinated.
Those who died have comorbidities.
The deceased including a 74-year-old man from sector 38, who suffered from diabetes mellitus, the hypertension and acute respiratory pressure syndrome, died in pirimers.
He was fully vaccinated.
A 76-year-old woman from Sector 20, who also suffered from diabetes mellitus, hypertension and acute breathing pressure syndrome, died in pirimer.
He has the first dose of the covid vaccine.
The youngest of the deceased was a 27-year-old woman from Dhana, who was taken dead to GMSH-16.
He was tested positive for Covid after his death.
He was only vaccinated with the first dose of Covid vaccine.
On Saturday, 1,146 repatriated patients, which increased the recovery rate to 94.4%.
There were 88,703 cases confirmed, including 1,115 deaths and 3,819 active cases.
Also, there were 317 patients in oxygen support in hospitals and covid mini care centers while 36 patients were in the ventilator.
Chandigarh is in the fourth slot down so far concerns growth in active cases.
The national growth rate is -0.7% while the city level is -9.31%.
Also, the national average test per million per day is 1292.4 while chandigarh testing has been recorded at 3.831.
“Because cases have quickly dipped, it is expected that there will be cases that can be ignored after mid-February.
However, death will continue for a few more days because those who have comorbidity and some or no vaccination have been severely infected,” said a health expert Public.
