Bengaluru: Karnataka on Sunday adds 34,047 fresh infections and 13 deaths in tally covid-19, the health department said.
The number of cases reported so far is 32.20,087 and the number of deaths is 38,431.
Bulletin said 5,902 people were sent home and took the total recovery amount to 29,83,645.
The active case reaches 1,97,982.
Urban Regency Bengaluru sees most cases with 21,071 infections and five deaths.
Other districts also saw new cases: 1,892 in MySuru, 1,373 in Tumakuru, 1,171 in Hassan, 782 in Dakshina Kannada, 722 in Bengalore Rural and 709 in Mandya.
There are two deaths in Dakshina Kannada and each in Chikkaballater, Hassan, Kalaburagi, Mandya, Mysore, and Ramanagara.
There is no fatality in 23 districts.
The level of participation for that day was 19.29 percent and case fatality case was 0.03 percent.
As many as 1,74,470 samples were tested in the state and they included the current 1,42,652 RT-PCR test.
It takes the cumulative number of specimens checked as far as 5.9 crores.
There were 37,086 people inoculated and they took total vaccination until now to 9.14 crores, the department said.
