Jammu: Four people, including two women and babies, died after a vehicle carrying workers with a deep canyon after meeting accidents near Khooni Nallah along the National Highway Jammu-Srinagar in Rawan District on Wednesday morning, police said.
“Around 0530 hours, the vehicle, was on his way from Jammu to Srinagar carrying workers, met with an accident and fell into the canyon near Khooni Nalllah,” said Senior Supervisor to Rawan Pd Nitya.
He said, “When receiving information from the police along with QRT, UTDRF and the army team immediately rushed to see and launch search and rescue operations.” “Three people, including two women, were found dead while the other five were saved and taken to the Raw District Hospital where the two-year-old child gave up on injury,” the official added.
“Three more people were found dead during rescue surgery,” added SSP Row.
The deceased has been identified as Arya Sahu (2 years), S / O Deepak Sahu, Sanra Devi (43), without RAM, and Dhuj Bhai (42), with w / o Bagirath, all residents of Sahnarnghar, Chattisgarh and Sunil Singh (31) , S / H Shamsher Singh from Rakh Burn, Jammu while that was injured was Narayan Manji (21), Putra Ramesh Manji, Dinesh Kumar (19), Putra Baghi Rath and Maghe Lal, (17), son of Amar Singh, Dhoop Chand (21), all of Chhattisgarh are being hospitalized.
Meanwhile, the police have registered the case below 279,337,304a IPC.
