Guwahati: More than 56% of Covid patients reported in Assam in the third wave since January 1 have taken their second dose, while 11.3% vaccinated with the first dose but still changed positively.
The Senior Health Department official said the data collected by the department has revealed that vaccination cannot prevent infection, especially when a very contagious variant such as Omicron has entered into the community.
