Chandigarh: Punjab lost six people to Covid-19 on the Satudary and reported 124 new cases.
One patient each died in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Mohali, Pathankot, Patiala, and Tarn Taran.
In Amritsar, 15 people were positively tested, while 13 cases each emerged in Bathinda, Jalandhar and Ludhiana, nine in Patiala, eight in Hoshiarpur, Pathankot and Sangrur, six in Kapurthala, five in Mohali, four in Fazilka, three in Fazilka, Mansa, and Muktsar, two each in Barnala, Faridkot, Gurdaspur, Moga, Tarn Taran, and Fatehgarh Sahib, and one in Ropar.
The country was vaccinated 52,438 people, 40,794 with the first dose and 11,644 with the second.
The total suspected case is 1,13,32,750, while the total positive test is 5,97,469, which includes 5,79,618 recovery, 16,177 deaths, and 1,674 active cases.
From health workers, 2,12,943 have received the first dose and 1,28,081 have got the second.
From frontline workers, 11.37,278 got the first dose and 2.71,850 took the second.
The age group above -45 has received 35.46,808 first dose and 8.93,035 second dose.
The 18-44 age group has taken 21.26,772 first dose and 45,361 second shot.
The total dose given is 83.31.867.
