Bengaluru: A total of 651 people were killed in an accident in Bengaluru for 2021, showing research conducted by traffic police.
Two-wheeled riders contributed most of the victims – while 328 was a driver, 76 was a driver buyer.
The deceased also included 161 pedestrians.
Commissioner with Police (Traffic) Br Ravikanthe Gowda said, “This study revealed that the lack of awareness of road safety among rides and rashes and controls that neglect maximally contribute to road accidents that have caused two wheels.
The next reason is up without helmet.
Others include the lack of a mirror behind the rear view.
“During 2020, 657 people, including 332 riders, 80 rider players and 164 pedestrians, had died in an accident on the road.
In 2019, such an accident claimed 832 lives – 408 riders, 76 motorists and 273 pedestrians.
