Chandigarh: 9,569 new cases of Covid-19 and 53 deaths were reported in Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on Friday.
Haryana reported 4,630 new cases of Covid-19 and 19 deaths on Friday.
Once again recovery (8,181) exceeded a new case.
The cumulative number of countries has reached 9,37,606 cases, 8.95,339 recovery, 10,256 deaths and 31,988 active cases.
A total of 1,300 patients were hospitalized and the majority of the patients were stable, officials said.
The three deaths were reported from the Gurugram district, Hisar, Panipat and Panchkula.
While the two deaths were reported from Kurukshetra, one death was reported from Kaithal, Yamunanagar, Sirsa, Kariba and Faridabad.
Gurugram reported a maximum of 1545 cases attended by 407 from Faridabad, 359 of Panchkula, 246 of Sonipat, 239 of Hisar, 215 of cases and 202 cases from Ambala District, 184 from Rohtak, 168 of Bhiwani, 151 of Panipat, 154 of Fatehabad, 108 from Kurukshetra and 104 from Yambaniangar.
Meawwheile, Punjab reported 3,096 fresh Covid-19 cases, while 25 people were infected with a virus died on Friday.
The four old deaths added to the temporary state calculation in one case, the treatment outcomes were changed from being dead.
A total of 693 people were tested positive at Mohali while 467 cases were reported in Ludhiana, 234 in Jalandhar, 213 in Bathinda, 140 in Hoshiarpur, 138 in Tarn Taran, 132 in Ropar, 127 in Ropar, 108 in Faridkot.
Himachal Pradesh reported nine Covid-19 deaths and 1,843 positive cases on Friday while 2,417 positive patients recovered during the day.
Four deaths were reported from Kangra Regency, three deaths from bathing districts while one death was reported from Bilalaspur and Hamirpur Regency.
