Bengaluru: A photograph showing a motorcycle that is being transported by truck vehicle-demand mini vehicles rose viral on social media on August 17 after a Twitter user, citing the document, claiming that the truck (KA 23-8144) do not have insurance coverage, its fitness certificate have expired in 2017 and the tax has not been paid since 2003.
However, the traffic police tried to wash his hands allegations, claiming the vehicle was not part of their fleet.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) BR Ravikanthe Gowda said the truck license plate number did not match the 80-odd towing vehicles it uses in the city.
“It showed a man in thugs to lift the bike.
