Mohali: The four housing communities of Zirakpur have made illegal construction violating the master plan, according to the findings of sustainable investigations by Deputy Commissioner (ADC) additional Komal Mittal.
The local government has received complaints from a group of illegal construction residents in 23 housing communities and commercial structures.
People have supported their claims by sending documents.
“We have been able to visit seven colonies in the Zirakpur Ghazipur and Nabha area so far.
We found four of them having deviations related to land ownership and regions defined for construction.
We will be able to send a final report within two weeks,” Mittal said.
Meeting the allegations of residents that the City Council (MC) deliberately ignored the violation, Mittal said the MC did not have documentary evidence about the ownership and number of typicals from 23 construction that was under the scanner.
“Zirakpur MC doesn’t work together to share documents and permits for such builders,” Mittal said.
Introduction Findings have revealed builders have penetrated the way to build a community.
“In many places, we have observed that according to the planned main plan, but none and the people have come there.
Highrise buildings have been built by a small housing plot.
We have requested information without an objection certificate for changes in land use of commercial land housing.
MC has not provided details, “Mittal said.
Sukhdev Chaudhary, Chair of the Joint Action Committee that has submitted a complaint with the document, the alleged Nexus between the builder and MC.
“The builder of establishing a housing community illegally and MC is a mute audience.
The wall boundary is being built outside the construction area and the basement is being excavated beyond the allowable limit.”
