Bengaluru / New Delhi: Continuing a good trip for the third consecutive year, IIT-Madras has topped the ‘India 2021’ ranked released by the Ministry of Education on Thursday, while Karnataka has improved its performance with one Mangalore and two Bengaluru colleges.
Break into the list of the top 100 colleges.
Three colleges that have made cuts are Bengaluru MS Busah College of Arts, Science and Commerce (No.
62) and St Joseph’s College of Commerce (74) and Mangaluru’s St Aloysius College (95).
This is the ranking of the sixth edition of India which is institutionalized by the National Institutional Framework (NIRF) by the Ministry of Education, which is now ranked in higher education institutions in 11 categories.
IIT-Madras maintains the top position in the ‘Engineering’ and ‘Overall’ category.
Among the universities, IISC-Bangalore was ranked number one, followed by JNU.
In the research category that was introduced this year, IISC-Bangalore appeared a topper and IIT-Madras seconds.
Wise-Wise, Tamil Nadu has 19 institutions in the top 100 universities, followed by Maharashtra with 12 and 10 of Karnataka.
Carnataka star institution recognizes the domain of each: in-laws, the National Law School of India’s University continues to become no.
1 and IIim-Bangalore are ranked No.
2 in management.
Nimhans gets ranked.
4 in medical and not.
42 in the study.
Nine Medical College features in Top 50, with two of them (Nimhans Medical College, Manipal) above 10.
Among high school engineering, there are eight of the top 100 and 19 states in the top 200.
National-Karnataka Institute of Technology ranks 10.
Previous studies in NIRF Ranking 2020 by two academics – G Srinivas and S Salil – have shown that state higher education leaning towards professional education and therefore disparity.
In the University list, after IISC, Manipal Academy of Higher Education is not.

Mysore University (19), Bangalore University (69), University of Kuvempu (81) and Visvesvaraya Technological University (82) also displays in Top 100.
