CHANDIGARH: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal on Friday asked primary minister Captain Amarinder Singh to speak into’safai workers’ straight, requesting them to finish their continuing attack.
He cautioned that if they didn’t finish their relapse, the condition would need to confront different ailments apart from Covid-19.
The SAD president stated though safai workers were on strike, the government was adopting a”callous attitude” and not able to address their grievances.
Sukhbir stated safai workers were agitating for regularisation of the services for the past couple of years and this requirement ought to be accepted instantly.
He added that the custom of builders giving low salary to safai workers ought to be finished.
In accordance with Sukhbir, employees were complaining they weren’t getting advantages like PF participation or gratuity.
“Even insurance pay in some areas has lapsed or is still on the verge of lapsing.
I advocate the ministry to check into this matter and solve it in the first,” said Sukhbir.
He said the ministry must call employees for discussions immediately and solve all their impending problems, mentioned Sukhbir, doing not doing this could lead to additional burden on health care establishments due to rise in diseases as a result of unhygienic conditions.
