Kullu: Heavy rainfall produces landslides on the 305 national highway in Shojha in the Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh on Sundays that have disrupted the movement of the vehicle.
The Banjar District Sub Division judge at Himachal Pradesh said, “the landslide blocked the national highway 305 on Sunday morning due to continuous rainfall in the region.” However, there are no casualties or injuries reported and the road restoration work is underway, HR gets information.
On September 9, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) Himachal Pradesh had issued a yellow warning for rain until September 12.
According to the Director of the State IMD, several districts including Kangra, Hamirpur, Solan, Shimla, and Sirmail received heavy rainfall.
