Vidisha: Three teenage boys sank in the water fountain located near Dam Halali in the Vidisha District of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, police said.
The deceased, Amit Patel (17), Mohit Sharma (18) and Abhya Sharma (19), who came from the Ashoka Nagar area in Bhopal, had gone for a picnic to the place, which is about 30 km from Karagus District, Caria Inspector of Aruna Police Station Singh told PTI.
“They took a bath under the fountain when they were drowning.
One of the boys began to sink in the first fountain water and his two friends hurried to save him.
However, the three of them sank in the process.
