Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported the highest number of children’s marriage – 185 – in the country in 2020 and 66% more than 111 cases were recorded in 2019, according to data from the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB).
Assam came second with 138 marriages of children in 2020, West Bengal 98, Tamil Nadu 77 and Telangana 62.
