Bengaluru: An employee of a private company who has it, on the morning of September 12, fled after kissing a student on the KSRTC bus near the penenya was arrested.
The defendant, Madhusudhan Reddy, was a resident of Vijayanagar and from Ballari.
On September 12, a 24-year-old student had filed a complaint to the police, accused an unknown man kissing him before going down from the vehicle at the KSRTC bus terminal in the PEENYA.
The victim and the suspect were co-passengers on the bus who had traveled from Ballari to Bengaluru.
“The man looked at me from the beginning of our trip and I didn’t pay much attention.
Meanwhile, the bus reached the PEENYA terminal at 5:30 a.m.
and harassment, who headed to the door, kissed me and went down,” said the complainant.
“We conducted an investigation in two ways – a team collected CCTV recordings from the bus terminal and other details collected about the defendant from the driver of the KSRTC and conductors.
The defendant had booked tickets online, which helped us reach his house,” said an investigative officer.
The student also identified the suspect.
Reddy produced before the court, which served it in a 14-day trial detention.
