GADAG: Keen to ensure that students contributed to poor families did not quit the study, a school principal of the government polytechnic had advanced to fund his education for the next three years.
Huligevva Kalaal, which secured 94% in SSLC, now made a decision to pursue a three-year course, even though he continued to wonder if he would be able to continue further.
Revansiddaya Malagatti, Principal Polytechnic College in Gajendragad, decided to support Huligevva as soon as he learned that the girl planned to stop his studies because of poverty.
