Guwahati: In the new SOP issued on Friday, the Government Assam allows the reopening of the cinema hall in the state with a seat capacity of 50% only for film fans who are fully vaccinated.
Overcoming Media, Health Minister Keshab Manganta said, “The Covid-19 situation has improved in the last week.
After analyzing all situations, the government has taken several decisions, including reopening the cinema room.
The hall will be allowed to reopen with 50% residential.
They must Make sure the ticket is only for vaccinated people.
“The cinema room, which remained closed throughout the first wave of Pandemi, was allowed to reopen with a capacity of 50% in mid-October last year and with full residence in January this year.
However, the hall remained closed since April after the second wave of pandemics hit the country and other parts of the country.
Manganta added that the theater hall would also be allowed to continue following the applicable guidelines for the cinema.
However, the government has not made a decision about giving permission to cellular theater groups for their performances.
Meanwhile, Manganta asked the beneficiaries of a different government scheme, which included Arunodoi and Arundhati, to be fully vaccinated to continue to utilize the benefits of the scheme at the end of October.
“The fully vaccinated beneficiaries will continue to take advantage of the benefits of government schemes and others will be abandoned.
We will finish this in December,” he added.
The curfew time has also been reduced by one hour.
Now, the curfew will take effect from 10pm to 5 in the morning.
Business companies, offices, other companies, markets, malls, and shops have been allowed to remain open until 9pm.
