Guwahati: Earthquake magnitude 3.8 Shook Central Assam’s Sonitpur District on Sunday, according to data distributed by the National Seismology Center (NCS) Center.
The tremor occurred at 14:40 in the latitude of 26.68 degrees north and longitude 92.44 degrees east.
The depth of the earthquake was 5 km, NCS stated.
There have been no reports of damage or victims so far, police said.
