Bengaluru: Congress’ Unit Karnataka President D K Shivakumar said he would not blame anyone for viral videos where the former member of Lok Sabha and the media coordinator of a saleem connected him with a suspected fraud when he was a minister.
“People have said whatever they want.
I will not blame BJP or Media.
We only give others the opportunity to use us,” Shivakumar told reporters here.
He responded to the question of embarrassing videos from the conversation which was said to be between Saleem and Ugrappa on Tuesday in front of the press met in the party meeting room.
In the video, Saleem said it was said to call the Shivakumar ‘Collection of Cuehaki’ (extension), which allegedly increased the ‘commission’ in irrigation contracts from eight percent to 12 percent.
The party suspended Saleem from a party for six years and presented a notification of the cause of the show to Ugrappa, who was a spokesman for Congress, looking for an explanation in three days.
The congressional conversation said the problems associated with viral videos were not personal but related to a party, which was built by lakh party workers.
Hit back at BJP because it targets it to follow viral videos, Shivakumar says let the BJP note about what their leaders have spoken against their leaders such as MLC A H Vishwanath, C P Yogeshwar, Ramesh Jarkiholi and Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.
“Why does BJP not answer the costs leveled by Vishwanath, Yogeeshwar, Ramesh Jarkiholi and Yatnal (against the former leader of BS Yediyurappa and his family)? Why did they not talk about collection during BJP term,” Head of Congress State.
said.
He said the goal was to bring Congress to power once again.
