Bengaluru: A 42-year-old woman alleged that a group of three lured her with the pretext of getting the Audi A3 used and cheated her from Rs 10 Lakh recently.
The victim was Suma (name changed) from Rampur near Bidarahalli, the outskirts of East Bengaluru.
Suma told the police that he was looking for a used Audi A3 and learned that his son’s friend, Rudresh was in business dealing with used cars.
So, he asked Rudrese to get Audi for him.
“Rudrese introduced it to someone identified as Chiranjeev, who claimed to be a manager with a private financial company, and said he could regulate the Audi used for him.
They claimed they could get a vehicle for a lower price because many car owners could not clean the emis.
They showed To my car and documents in Mailasndra on September 2nd and I agreed to buy a vehicle for RS 19 lakh.
I gave a 10 lakh Hospital to someone, identified as Wasimulla Khan, on September 4 and apply for a loan for the remaining Rs 9 Lakh, “Suma stated in His complaint.
He accused that the trio promised him that they would send a vehicle on September 12.
But there are no shipping made, or money back.
Suma approached the police Banaswadi recently and filed a cheating case against Rudresh, Chiranjeevi and Khan.
The police made an effort to arrest them.
