Bengaluru: The central decision to turn off the Indian train station Corporation development (IRSDC) is likely to maintain the maintenance and improvement of the train station in the city.
The train Ministry on Monday decided to close the IRSDC, which was established in 2012 mainly for the construction of the station.
The ministry stated in the notice that all stations managed by the IRSDC will be submitted to each zone train.
“…
Zonal trains will further develop station projects,” he said.
IRSDC maintains the Bengaluru KSR city train station since February 2019.
It also has a plan to take over and maintain several more stations, including Yeshwantpur, Kr Puram and Bangarpet under the South Western Railway (SWR).
Many passengers say the cleanliness of the KSR KSR KSR city train station improved after the IRSDC took over.
It brought Knight based in British Frank for service and asset management services.
Many branded outlets and restaurants start there in the last two years.
“There is an increase seen at the city train station in terms of cleanliness during the IRSDC period.
They also carry a more branded and hygienic food connection.
But we don’t know how to return to the old system helping passengers,” said Ramesh Kumar, a commuter.
At the city train station, IRSDC also places a 12-foot tunnel aquarium, the first facility at the train station in the country.
Another initiative is Dawa Dost, a shop that sells general drugs at discounted prices for passengers.
IRSDC also introduces premium parking fees: Rs 25 for four wheels and RS 15 for two-wheeled two hours.
This reduces the number of vehicles entering the station.
It also plans a fish pedicure, gaming zone and music foundation, among other facilities, at the station.
Many IRSDC employees were surprised after the closing announcement.
Plans for rebuilding the affected station in Know said four train stations in the city – KSR Bengalore City, Yeshwantpur, Cantonment, and the existing Byappanahalli station – identified for rebuilding.
With the closure of the IRSDC, the fate of these projects also hangs in balance.
IRSDC has rebuilt Habibanjan in Madhya Pradesh and Gandhinagar in Gujarat.
The source said the corporation had finished compiling a plan to develop the Byappanahalli station and send it to the train board for approval.
For Cantonment, the soil is now with the authority of the development of railroad land.
This is likely to be used to set the suburban subway terminal.
For Bengaluru City and Yeshwantpur KSR, IRSDC has sent conceptual images to the Bengaluru Division for approval.
“The IRSDC should be an independent body, but his hands are bound …
there are some irregularities in the allotment of the store at the station but which reduced after the IRSDC took over,” said a source.
