Bengaluru: Passengers arrive from countries where cases soared must undergo a Covid-19 test at the airport in Karnataka, the state government said in a circle.
Passengers whose flights argued from eight countries – South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand and Zimbabwe – In addition to countries in Europe including the UK, will be tested on arrival.
The decision applies immediately.
Passengers from these countries must also live in home quarantine for seven days and take Covid tests on day 8.
This new rule applies to all from these countries, regardless of their vaccination status.
