Bengaluru: Three motorcycle riders from Bengaluru are on their way along the Border of the state of Karnataka, covering more than 3,000 km in three days, to mark RajyotsaVA.
Pegged as the first trip-of-type, they plan to end their trip outside Vidhana Soudha on Monday night.
HR Professional Harshith BK, 30, from Kalyan Nagar has been a passionate driver with many road trips to his credit.
He had missed to travel like that for years to discuss all the corners of his home country and create a form of carnataka maps in the track.
“I want to do it for Kannada RajyotsaVA last year, but Covid put brakes on my plan.
This year, there was no restraint,” Harshith added.
The founder of Bengaluru Bikerstroop, a group of city-based motorbike riders involved in the journey, Harshith inspired fellow Bengalurean and Biker Buddies Suraj Vasudeva, 24, and Surendra Karnataka, 42.
They departed from Attibele Saturday morning – Harshith on Apache RR 310, Suraj on KTM Duke 390 And Surendra at KTM Duke Adventure 250.
“We went up to Kanakapura road and crossed the bandipur to reach Madikeri.
We paused at Mangaluru and had reached Karwar,” Tavarekere-Resident Suraj told Toi.
Covering more than 500 km in a day, the trio does not take a lot of rest and follow routes along the place on the state border.
“It took two months to map the place along the border and we followed up,” Harshith said during a brief pitstop on the trasi beach near Kundapura.
Bikers will travel through several parts of the Besavav, Vijayapura, Bidar, Ballari, Chikkaballala and entered Kolar to reach Bengaluru on Monday night.
