Bengaluru: Two students from Karnataka – Jashan Chhabra and Meghan HK – have pocketed the Fifth All-India rating in the National Feasibility Test (NEET-UG) 2021, scoring 715 marks.
The National Test Agency on Monday night shares a score card with students via email and the results are now available onneet.nnic.in.
Jashan comes from Mangaluru and Meghan from the Pramati Hill View Academy, Mysuru.
Meghan has created history by adding all streams in CET – Engineering, Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, agriculture, animal science and pharmaceuticals.
“I expect rankings in the top 10 and know that I will score 715 after checking the answer key,” he told Toi.
Meghan said his parents – who were edifies him in the right preparation path.
“They make sure there are no obstacles that can bother me.
The pandemic is challenging and difficult to maintain the discipline at first.
But my teachers encourage me to talk a lot to them, asking me to make a schedule and work in that direction,” he said.
When Meghan had topped the CET exam, he had shared with TOI that even though he was happy with the results and aspiring to become a doctor and wait for the results of the NEET.
“One of the colleges I dreamed of joining was AIIMS, New Delhi.
For now, I hope to pursue oncology but I have heard that students change their direction during their internship phase,” he said.
Apart from helping people, he also likes to comfort them and make them feel comfortable.
Meghan studied for 10 hours a day but did not compromise with his hobby.
“I suggest other candidates to plan their days, weeks and months.
The journey to the exam is a marathon and must be built step by step.
There will be many moments that make frustration but talk to people who are close to you and compete with yourself, “He said.
Jashan, who completed his XIIH from Mount Carmel Central School in Mangaluru, said he learned to love the subject that made his preparation easy.
“There is hiccup because of a pandemic.
But my love for the subject and support of my mother makes it easy,” Jashan said.
“I joined the Aakash Institute where I prepared for the exam during class XI and XII.
Focused preparation helped me solve it,” he said.
Sinchana Lakshmi with 658 marks topped the candidate for a list of girls (PWD).
While Harshitha Gangadharappa Negeni pocketed the fourth place, Shaiksha Nayaka BP stood the eighth in the St.
toppers list.
Other students from the top state in the top 100 are Varun Aditya and KV Pranav from Sri Chaitanya Techno School Marathalli and JP Nagar.
