Bengaluru: Viral videos on social media caused flutter on Wednesday when it misunderstood that flight passengers had attacked the Tamil Vijay Setupathi movie star at Kempegowda International Airport.
Bengaluru City Police confirmed later that it was actor Mahagandhi’s friend, not Setupathi’s set, which was attacked by a drunken passenger after a fight.
Both parties reached a compromise and no police complaints were submitted.
Mahagandhi is also an actor.
Sources in Kia said incidents in the video, may be shot by an observer, showing a man in a white shirt and black pants jumping and kicking a man outside the airport arrival area.
A fight occurred when, around 11:30 a.m.
on Tuesday, a group of men including Tamil Vijay Setupathi stars was walking outside the gate of arrival.
The suspect kicked the man to the left of the actor.
The middle of the industrial security force person (CISF) was on duty outside the terminal arrested the attacker and attacked him to Bengaluru City Police at the airport.
The video became a viral on social media on Wednesday night.
The attacker, Johnson, is a fellow passenger.
He has an argument with Vijay Settupathi’s friends and fellow Mahagandhi actors inside the airport on trivial problems.
The problem is increasing and Johnson attacks Mahagandhi, a source of police.
KIA police chased this problem but Johnson and Mahagandhi told Bengaluru police that they did not want to continue with complaints and wanted to end this problem.
Sethupathi is not hurt.
The airport police released Johnson and Mahagandhi also left the police station after both of them gave a statement on a fight, the source added.
Sethupathi has reached Bengaluru on Tuesday night for filming television shows in innovative films in Bidadi for Tamil TV channels.
