Ambala: A three-year-old girl died falling into the sewer while playing outside her home in Singhawala Village, near Ambala City on Friday, police said here.
The deceased, Kanika, owned by a family of migrant workers, who lived in a rented house that was tied, they said.
The incident occurred when his father went to work and his mother was in the house, they said.
Dine where the girl fell in about three feet in, police said.
The incident was witnessed by several people who passed, who told the police.
Kanika rushed to a civil hospital where she was declared dead, police said.
