Encourage Bengali in Barak

Silchar: The upotyaka barracks are Sahita O Sanskriti Sammelan, the body of the literature and Apex culture of the South Assam Valley, filed a separate memorandum to three deputy commissioners, demanding the use of Bengali language for the official destination of Assam (Amendment) Act, 1961.
Organizational members on Thursday Meeting with the Deputy Commissioner Cachar, Karimanj and Hailakandi and SDO from Lakhipur’s subdivision and submitted a memorandum.
Organizational members emphasize that Bengali language must be used for all other administrative and official goals in this valley and seek the intervention of deputy commissioners in this matter.
In memorandum, Sammelan stated that 80% of Barracks Valley spoke Bengali.
As a result of language movements, the rights of valleys have been recognized through the legal system.
But despite repeated calls to the government and administration, there is a tendency to violate language law while forming various government guidelines, forms, advertisements, stockpiles, and even for work tests.
Therefore, Sammelan appealed to the deputy commissioner to ensure the use of this law.
