Bengaluru: Business Company is optimistic that this Christmas-New holiday season with the crowd once again appeared in shopping and partying centers in all cities.
High driving on optimism, retail trading agars, including pubs and bars, has now appealed to the state government not to stab their hopes by imposing severe restrictions quoting the revival of Covid-19 and its new variants, Omicron.
Unlike the last two shopping seasons the last vacation, when traders were badly devastated when sales dropped, run-up until the new year saw more young people relaxing on the streets and traffic in the store rose significantly.
But talks about demanding night deadlines and other restrictions in the background of the Omicron variant have increased the level of anxiety among traders.

They collected around Rs 12-13 lakh to decorate the stretch of 700 meters, which had been damaged by the work of rebuilding the Bengaluru Smart City project.
Mayak Rohatgi, Secretary of the Bengaluru commercial association, said members had decided to contribute and beautify the road.
“We have spoken with Limited Bengaluru City Limited officials, and they have assured us to complete road work on December 20, after that we will decorate stretches,” Rohatgi said.
Pubs and restaurants in the city have asked the Supreme Commissioner of the Bbmp Gaurav Gupta to give them permission to operate and extend deadlines.

“People have worked from home through a pandemic and in the year they want to party, who need to be supported,” he added.
“We must welcome the coming year and pray for the end of this pandemic.
The celebration is important,” said another pub owner, who runs the chain in the city.
“Instead of stopping an activity, the government must improve the rules to limit the crowd and we will accept it,” he added.
Gupta agreed to increase the worries of traders with the government and then came to the final decision.
“We need to understand the Covid-19 situation still exists and we take extreme steps to control the plague.
Thus, we will be able to decide the celebration only after the government receives a telephone,” he said.
