Assam: Drive BJP fundraising in January to run the Mandal office

Guwahati: BJP in Assam will do a fundraising encouragement at home among his party workers from January 1 for ‘Sahayog Nidhi’ and mopping at least Rs 10 Crore, which will be included in the deposit of the bank that remains so that the monthly interest obtained can be used to run His office is being arranged at the mandal level in all states.

“The fundraising drive in January will be an in-house affair and which in February will be a targeted donation from good sympathizers,” said Minister of Himanta’s minister Buswa Sarma in his speech to party workers here on Saturday.
Sarma warned party workers that they would not go to traders who demanded contributions.
“We don’t want to demand the contributions of entrepreneurs and traders.
We will not go to the market.
This is a different thing if a party worker is also an entrepreneur,” Sarma said.
He added that the party was about 42 members of the lakh in the state and even if the contribution of Rs 50 was collected even from 50% of them, the total number would be around Rs 10 Crore.
“It must be collected from within our BJP family and not contributions from some individuals.
The interest we produce from a fixed deposit of total contributions will be used to run our office.
The cost of maintenance of the country’s headquarters in Guwahati will be several lakh.
