Silchar: The Association of Hailakandi Student Cachar Karimanji on Tuesday alleged that the Authority of the University of Assam has published a list of “disabled” achievements to enter the Postgraduate Course (PG) for the 2021-22 academic session.
The student’s body claims that the list of achievements has been prepared without considering the degree of examination and demanding to be removed.
Overcoming the media here, Nandi Purkayastha’s Rupiah Clothing advisor said it was “surprising” that the Authority of the University of Assam had prepared a list of candidate achievements for PG acceptance by considering the signs of higher secondary matriculation and examination instead of test signs of degrees.
“There is no university in a country that sets a strange criterion for PG receipts,” he said.
However, Assam University Registrar Pradosh Kiran Nath told TII, “List of acceptance for the 2021-22 academic session has been prepared based on written inspection instead of the degree test score, because many universities in this country have not declared the final results due to a pandemic.”
