Aizawl: Mizoram reported 173 fresh covid cases in the last 24 hours, said the State Information Department and Public Relations on Saturday.
The total active case stands at 1.569.
The total number of deaths reported was 535 and the total number of active cases were 1,40,143.
In accordance with the state government, the level of peposititivity in the northeastern state is 9.37 percent.
Meanwhile, India reported 7,189 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health and family welfare on Saturday.
The case of tally variant Omicron has reached 415.
