Bathinda: MLA is sad twice from the assembly segment of Joga which was disbanded in Mansa Regency and school friend Sukhbir Party President Singh Badal, Jagdeep Singh Nakai, joined BJP on Wednesday.
The former former MLA from Congress, Shamsher Singh Rai also joined the Safron party along with Nakai.
Sad leader Ravi Preet Singh Sidhu and H S Desumajra also joined BJP in front of the Union Minister of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and SOM National Party Party.
The son of the former chairman of IFFCO Balwinder Singh Nakai, Jagdeep was elected from Joga in 2002 and 2007.
After Jaose was dissolved in restrictions, Nakai wanted to turn to Maus Maur segment side by side in 2012 but Sad had promised Minister of Jankeja Singh Sekhon from there.
Nakai studied with Sukhbir in Lawrence School, Sanawar.
He remained President of the Sedir District Planning Committee and Chairperson in Bathinda.
After joining BJP, Nakai said he was impressed with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had been made for the Sikh while sedir failed to do anything for the Sikhs Core Bank.
“For years, I have seen that Shiromani Akali Dal, which was once the party every village and Aam Aadmi, has become a strong and lost party connected with rural people.
For this reason I prefer to join BJP,” he said.
Rai was elected from the Chamkaur Sahib assembly segment as a Congress candidate in 1992, when the beheak to boycott the election.
